Roger and I have wanted a second child since June 2004, when Larissa was 9 months old. Unfortunately, medical science coud not reverse what Mother Nature had intended. We therefore started the paperchase to adopt a baby from China in January 2006. We were hoping for a healthy baby girl between 6-12 months, and we were told the wait would be 12-18 months after the paperwork was submitted. Between our busy schedules, we weren't able to get our documents submitted until March 2007. Our LID (log-in-date) is March 21, 2007
As of this initial entry we have been waiting 15 months.
To our friends and family who have been eager to hear news about our impending adoption, you can keep up with us on this site.
We hope to keep this blog up-to-date, and you'll be able to follow us on our journey to China. In the meantime, we'll just be "Waiting for Miss Daisy".
